Distressed Blue and Gold Bridal Comb Enamel Flower Rhinestone Hair Piece ACC56

A one of a kind large, elegant flower hair comb with lots of sparkle. This is a distressed piece - chipped and sanded around the edges so the brass shows through for a vintage look. Made from a mix of my own handcrafted metal flowers and stampings, cut and formed from brass and painted in robin's egg and aqua blue, with faux turquoise and crystal rhinestones in antique gold toned metal. It is made with an inward curve to conform to the shape of the head.

All are wired securely to a high quality goldtone wire comb, and the wires are covered with a brass plate on the back so as not to snag. A medium weight (about 2 oz), this should stay in place easily in an updo or back style, or it can be secured with bobby pins for fine hair or a side application. It will come in a kraft logo box.

The exposed brass will eventually patina and darken with time - if you want to bring it back to a bright gold finish, gently rub an emery board over the flower edges. Wipe with water or windex to clean.
